The Sybilla begins with the simplicity of a classic dome before introducing a gathered skirt along its lower edge.
That single detail breaks the clean line of the dome, introducing movement to the more structured form above.
The textile determines where the Sybilla goes next. In a plain linen, the skirt reads as a delicate flourish; in a floral, it becomes more exuberant, allowing pattern to gather and move around the edge of the shade.
It is a small addition to a familiar form, yet enough to give the classic dome an entirely new presence.
Matched floral panels follow the curve of the dome, preserving the scale and painterly detail of the textile.
A hand-gathered ruffle finished with a self-covered edge gives the Sybilla its layered lower silhouette.
